Lemero Wright

Lemero Wright (B.1983, Nassau, The Bahamas) is a new contemporary painter. He attended both the College of The Bahamas and the Finco Art Workshop, developing his unique urban style with elongated figures. His main mentors are Sandra IIingworth, John Cox, and Sue Williams. Among his main influences are John Beadle, Max Taylor, and Brent Malone. Through visualization, Wright conjures an image in his mind of a particular object before committing it to canvas. He has participated in numerous art shows and festivals including the 2017 Oxford art fair in London and the 2022 Culinary and Arts Festival at Baha Mar. His style is interchangeably ranging from pop, design, urban, and fantasy art. He seeks to paint the ordinary unusual ways.
