Kachelle Knowles
Kachelle Knowles (b. Bahamas, 1990) is a contemporary artist who explores the ideas of gender identity, cultural preservation/production and social relations within the black Caribbean community. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Illustration at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada.
Pursuing a career as a professional artist, she has already exhibited in numerous galleries including the Central Back of the Bahamas, the Public Treasury Art Program and Popopstudios ICVA.
Knowles is currently working as a practicing artist in Nassau, The Bahamas.
